Before the first snowflake fell, dozens of businesses and activities announced that they weren&#8217;t going to open. It&#8217;s now 1 PM and what was supposed to be a snowpocalypse is instead a steady rain.</p>
<p>A few flakes before sunlight&#8230;but that&#8217;s it so far. Maybe when the sun goes down today, the predicted snow will appear. Even the Federal Government shut down in anticipation of snow.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure if you went to Giant, Shoppers or Wegmans, the shelves would be empty of toilet paper, bread and milk. That&#8217;s the funny thing about living here&#8230;it happens every time. People realize at the last minute that they all of a sudden don&#8217;t have enough TP, bread and milk.</p>
<p>Hopefully, this one will pass Crofton and we can get back to normal.</p>
