As usual in the Washington, DC area, whenever there is a forecast of snow, it creates a frenzy of activity. Before the first snowflake fell, dozens of businesses and activities announced that they weren’t going to open. It’s now 1 PM and what was supposed to be a snowpocalypse is instead a steady rain.
A few flakes before sunlight…but that’s it so far. Maybe when the sun goes down today, the predicted snow will appear. Even the Federal Government shut down in anticipation of snow.
I’m sure if you went to Giant, Shoppers or Wegmans, the shelves would be empty of toilet paper, bread and milk. That’s the funny thing about living here…it happens every time. People realize at the last minute that they all of a sudden don’t have enough TP, bread and milk.
Hopefully, this one will pass Crofton and we can get back to normal.
