Anne Arundel County Wet Season Perc Test Delayed

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has decided to continue the delay of the 2009 Wet Season Perc Test. This type of test is required for properties located in high water table areas of Anne Arundel County. The reason for the delay is low water level tables at the monitoring wells.

Generally, February – April is the testing season. The AA County Department of Health will decide when, or if, perc testing will resume this year. It is entirely possible that the entire season can be cancelled and pushed into next year.

When testing resumes, the county will decide on a first come, first served basis. Make sure you have an application filed with the Anne Arundel County Permit Center. This center is located at 2664 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
